A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
On my last pitch I received feedback in terms of my delivery. I was initially pitching a different product and my delivery may have seemed careless or casual. People said I should try and make it more professional for ethos purposes. None of the feedback was wrong it was all helpful.

3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
I delivered a pitch for a different product, the one I've been exploring lately which is the flavored capsule additive for beer. I incorporated a little Spanish just to fit my demographic, though I still think my pitch delivery is the same (you don't know whether I'm serious or not). This honestly has to do with my speeches in English, in Spanish I can communicate with a more professional tone.
Hey Carlos, first off I want to say I think you did a great job at your elevator pitch. Every time you do an elevator pitch you get better and better. I'm glad that you were able to use the feedback that you got and use it to make this elevator pitch better than ever. Lastly I think the product idea that you spoke about in this pitch is actually really cool and a unique idea.
ReplyDeleteHey Carlos,
ReplyDeleteLike I've said before I liked your idea from the start and even tried it myself. Your performance was relatively smooth and understanding what you were trying to do was not difficult to get at all. The only tip I could have for the future would be to maybe work on memorization a tiny bit more so the small fractions between going through your explanation don't feel like dead silence, I try my best to cut down on it but it happens to me as well and recognize that empty silence has to be purposeful to be effective.
Keep at it! can't wait to see how you go on with this!
Carlos,
ReplyDeleteI thought this pitch was excellent. I'm curious, what did you say in the beginning in Spanish? I'm assuming it was a tasteful remark that added to speech. I also really like how you related your product to the audience by explaining to them what they may have seen in the past or more likely, a beer commercial. This makes the product relatable to all eligible people over 21.
